由於我的內分泌出現了不調,所以託朋友替我買了一些玫瑰花茶。紅紅的乾花蕾很清香。我用一個別緻的果汁琉璃瓶盛滿了一瓶,十分漂亮。


這個花茶很好喝,好像進了花店般清爽。可是並不像網上一些傳言所說,不是粉紅色的飲料,而應該是普通的茶色。如果誰買了沖後會是粉紅色的茶水,那花蕾恐怕是人工着色,下次就不要再上當了。

Man in summer is like an ant living on fired pan. The heat is killing. Appetite is bad.
Staying at home, and having plenty of time, I tried some recipes from WWW.
Here is one. This dressing is quite healthy.


- Peanut butter (1 tablespoon)
- Light Soy sauce (1.5 tablespoons)
- White vinegar (1.5~2 tablespoons) *apple vinegar or sushi vinegar are also OK.
- Sesame oil (1/2 tablespoon)


This dressing is very good to take with vegetable cucumber, cabbage and tomato.

天時暑熱,在家休養,時間悠長。
閒來無事,進入厨房,找尋新意。
涼拌蔬果,開胃滋養,正合夏暑。


前天有朋友到訪。之前她借了一個平底鑊給我學做班戟(pancake),那次來訪時曾要試試我弄的班戟。可惜我的班戟還沒成功,當然沒有讓她試。於是,今次我弄了另一個算是稍微成功了的小吃給她嘗嘗。


涼拌的醬料參考了網上涼拌粉皮的食譜:
*花生醬 1湯匙
*生抽(淡豉油)1.5湯匙
*白醋(米醋或生果醋也可)1.5至2湯匙
*芝麻油  半湯匙


至於要配什麼生果蔬菜一起吃就隨意。特別推荐青瓜(小黃瓜)和蕃茄(西紅柿),以及蟹柳條。
水果宜選清爽口味的,太甜的水果跟醬料不是很配。如果加粉皮的話,粉皮宜先在涼水中多浸一點時間。

Love this dish when I worked in Los Angeles. This dish is related to my treasured memory of working in an old lab with many colorful fellows.



Owing to a benefit of globilization in good sense, I recently found sheets of lasagne and bottled sauce of bolognese sold in supermarkets in Hong Kong, and I can make a trial of the cooking lasagne without the feeling of building a babel tower.



Let's see how my lasagne bolognese looks like. Not too bad, isn't it?

However, I didn't put enough sauce but too much walnut, and the kind of cheese I used seems not right. Let see how can make it better in next trial.wi-wi

由於回到家后一直在生病,在南京时买了的南京桂花鸭躺在我家的冰箱里超过半个月还是在冷气房里躺得舒服。



这两天病好了不少,妈妈终於愿意让那只鸭鸭走完牠鸭生的最后一程。



意想不到,那只鸭原来很咸,吃上去像广东人的腊鸭的味道哦,挺甘香的。



带回来的时候,妈妈看见包裝还说我买了些满是防腐剂和味素的东西回家,但包裝打开后,觉得包裝的方式也不需要什么防腐剂,而且吃上去后大家都喜欢,偶终於松了一口气了。因为一番好意买了东西回家还要被说的话,感觉真的不好受。

On Nov. 1, I have introduced a popular recipe of semi-congealed bean curd (To-Fu-Wha/Tofu-fa, 豆腐花) in Hong Kong on Asha's article -最近我喜歡. The recipe is called "黑白 (Black-White)" by my folks. It is a mixture of Tofu-fa with black sesame paste. You can enjoy the contrasties of black and white, hot and cool, as well as liquid and solid textures of paste and curd from the dessert.



My friend reported that he has tasted the dessert in Japan on his article "Shrimp wanton noodle @ "糖朝" in Tokyo". There are a photo of and his analysis on Black-White.



This is one of my favourite dessert. You can buy Tofu-fa and black sesame paste powder from most Chinese supermarkets. Add some water to powder, and stir the mixture well. Then, boil the mixture. Remember to stir the mixture when you are cooking it. When the black sesame paste is cooked, add some tofu-fa to a bowl and pour some paste on the top of tofu-fa. Now the dessert is done!



It is easy to make B-W, isn't it?

Yesterday, I watched a Korean TV show introducting Mexican food. Taco is one of the most popular food for Mexican. I LOVE Mexican food VERY MUCH. I always had tacos when I was studying in Los Angeles.



The most delicious tacos I have even tasted was sold by hawkers in poor Latino neighbourhood. With only 1 US dollor, I could buy 2 tacos. However, those hawkers are rare.



Thinking of the taste of taco and sasa, I am very hungry now. However, there is no real mexican taco found in Hong Kong. (T_T)
